THERE’S a reason flood victim Ted Bradley is smiling – he’s the only person in Goodna’s flood-hit Brisbane Terrace whose home has been repaired.
Mr Bradley has moved back into his renovated home, thanks to $130,000 worth of repairs paid for by his insurer APIA.
His fortunes are in stark contrast to the vast majority of Ipswich home owners who have been denied a payout from their insurer and have had to rely on volunteers and donations to get their life back together.
